My brother and I were abandoned in a boarded up house in SW Detroit as infants. We were found by police, treated at a hospital, and adopted out to different families. The adoption records were sealed, so we couldn't find each other. When I was 23 and he was 21, we both moved to Michigan within 2 days of each other, and applied for the same job at a small nursing home in Howell Mi. When sitting next to each other in training classes, we found that we were biological brothers. We signed a press release and flew around the country doing shows and magazines. (Today show, People magazine, Inside Edition, National Enquirer, Jenny Jones and many more) Well, we hired an entertainment agent that blew off 2 offers of "6 figures apiece" in hopes that he could get more. My brother and I have a really crazy story to tell from birth to adulthood having been raised in turbulent adoptive homes, by alcoholic fathers, but we cannot afford a LEGITIMATE literary agent, ghostwriters etc. Are there perhaps ghostwriters that may write on contingency? Where do we take our story, now that our old agent blew our deal with Regan Publishing? Thank you all in advance, we really do have a crazy but true story that goes far beyond the chance meeting in that college class.
